Netbooks by MSI, flimsy or just hardware focused?

i have an old msi U100, from back when netbooks first appeared (it was a competitor with the original eee pc).
however it's kind of falling apart. one screw jiggled loose and vanished, a bit of cracked plastic here any there, ect.
Anyone else had trouble with MSI build quality, and do you know if this more recent model has overcome those issues?
