And you thought Monster Cables were expensive. Third-party products that make use of Apple's proprietary Thunderbolt connection have finally hit the market—or, rather, the Apple Store. And if you want to use devices like Promise's Thunderbolt-equipped multi-bay storage arrays, you're going to need a Thunderbolt cable to power the connection.
Don't bother hitting up your local electronics retailer or surfing over to Monoprice, however: Thunderbolt cables are currently only available from Apple, and they're going to set you back a pretty penny for a two-meter hunk of wire.
