Apple Questions & Answers
What do you think of Apple iPhone 4S?

Ok, here we go, I'm a bit disappointed on the hardware side, as I were looking forward to see a newly designed iPhone, but instead we got 4S with some significant hardware upgrades. It's not something new as this has happened previously with 3G>3GS models, but somehow the news & rumors of cheaper model (which is not Apple's style anyway) made me believe there might be a new version along the supercharged 4.
What I liked the most is the quality of pictures with the new camera with 8MP backlit CMOS sensor + new optics with f/2.4 aperture, which are looking great (this one for instance: http://images.apple.com/iphone/includes/camera-gallery/downloads/IMG_0940.JPG) and the fullHD video shooting with stabilization should be of the same quality, which is certainly a feature everyone will love.
Siri also is worth mentioning, as the idea behind the AI assistant has been out for decades, but it is just now when it all comes together deeply integrated in the OS, which gives Siri the ability to dive into your location data + contacts data + calendar's data, so it is not going to relay only on "code language" but is going to be actually close enough to your daily natural speech.
Lastly, the new dual-core chip is supposed to be way faster in graphics and game play and other stuff that requires computing power.
Overall, I think it is a brilliant device and is well worth upgrading, especially if you still carry model older than 4.
No larger screen, no 4G,no NFC, no LED notification light....where are these promised features...Nexus Prime will kick 4S as*..I'm sure :)
I think you're mistaking rumors with promised. No one promised anything, just pure tech speculation and assumptions.
I don`t think that there is a real need of more powerful device than the 4S... the device is as good as it can be...if i needed a reliable smartphone i`d go for it
