HP has offered TouchPad users six free apps as the fallout from the sudden demise of its webOS 3.0 tablet continues. The company has used its Palm blog to announce the special offer. The six apps on offer range in price from $1 through to $15. The free offer on the current selection will expire on August 31 and will then be followed by another six free apps in September.
The six free webOS apps on offer for August are Glimpse ($5), Kung Fu Panda 2 Storybook ($3), Big Boss ($2), Sparkle HD ($$5), Camera for TouchPad ($1) and Audubon Birds ($15). »read more
