According to a recent court filing, T-Mobile has taken sides with Samsung in the company's court battle with Apple. T-Mobile contends that an injunction against the sale of Samsung products in the U.S. would harm the carrier and its customers.
T-Mobile's primary concern is with holiday sales, as it claims that "at this late date, T-Mobile could not find comparable replacement products for the 2011 holiday season." T-Mobile's holiday marketing campaigns prominently feature the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone and Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, both of which are in danger of being banned in the U.S. if Apple is awarded an injunction.
