A group of nine states, including Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, have sent subpoenas to both AT&T and Sprint regarding AT&T's proposed acquisition of T-Mobile. The states have requested that Sprint send them all the same materials that Sprint has so far submitted to the Federal Communications Commission this year regarding the acquisition. Sprint has opposed the acquisition from day one and has delivered reams of material to the FCC in hopes of dissuading the FCC from approving the deal.
