Verizon Data Plans Leaked, No More Unlimited Packages

We already knew that Verizon was abandoning its unlimited 3G and 4G data plans in favor of tiered packages, and a leaked customer brochure details the new options. Of course, if you’re currently a Verizon customer with an unlimited data plan, it will be grandfathered indefinitely or for as long as you keep your Verizon line.
These data packages apply to smartphones and basic phones. If you go over your allotted plan for the $10/75MB package, you’re charged an additional $10 per 75MB, and you’ll be charged $10 for every 1GB over the higher-tiered plans.
