Microsoft today announced the third version of Windows Intune, its cloud-based solution for PC and mobile device management and security. Along with the new people centric capabilities and upgrade rights to the latest version of Windows, the latest version now includes the ability to download “licensed available line-of-business software applications” on Windows Phone 7.0 & above, iOS and Android devices. I think enterprise support is much needed for Windows Phone devices and as Microsoft’s own division such as Server & Tools adding support for it is a good thing. We may see wide adoption among companies across the world as Windows Phone 8 gets released with much more enterprise support. »read more
