Free anti-virus software - which one is yours?

I know there are a couple of free anti-virus programs available, and I'm wondering which one has the best support and fastest updates of virus definitions. I'm definitely not going to pay money for an occasional security since I'm very careful with visiting unknown websites as well as downloading from untrusted sources. From what I've heard there are those three best known:
- AVG
- Avira
- Avast
Currently Microsoft has gotten into the anti-virus business with their free Security Essentials which, according to some app reviewers is pretty good. Never tried it myself. Will appreciate your comments, thanks.

I use Avast, almost everyday its database is updated automatically, I'm pretty happy with it.
I started using AVG a couple of months ago and still no issues with it. I still think NOD32 is better though, it may not be free, but...
+1 for Avast, before I was using AVG but had problems with updates so I uninstall it :S
I`m using Avast as well, I don`t know if it is working but it isn`t giving me any trouble :D
It never detects viruses, right :D
