The Sony Ericsson joint venture will soon be over, but the combo is still pulling models out of their hat for now. A new Sony Ericsson Xperia model code named Pepper appeared on the Xperia Blog with a model number of MT27i. Said to be the successor to the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo, this new model offers a 3.7 inch display with resolution of 480 x 854. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, possibly the ST-Ericsson NoveThor U8500 chipset. The device will have a 5MP camera which captures video at 720p, and a front-facing camera.
