If you were hoping that your BlackBerry PlayBook would be running Android apps by now, I apologize for being the bearer of bad news. According to a new rumor, the “late summer” plan by RIM to get Android apps onto its tablet has been delayed until late fall. Some users purchased the PlayBook in high hopes of this feature – we even bothered the good RIM PR folks at pre-launch parties about the whole Android business. This isn’t looking good.
