Garmin Revamps Entire Product Line for 2012

One of the most confusing things about Garmin’s existing GPS product lineup—and this criticism applies to the entire portable navigation device (PND) market, not just Garmin—is that there are dozens of devices with near-identical names and feature sets. Worse, as new ones come out, the old ones are still available in Best Buy, on Amazon, and in other stores, often at deep discounts. That throws the entire notion of which devices are considered budget, midrange, or high-end into disarray, and makes it difficult for consumers to figure out which PND to buy.
