What do you think of Nikon's new J1 mirrorless camera?

What do you think of these new Nikon cameras J1 & V1? I'm quite interested in the cheaper one, the J1, because it is probably time for me to change my point-and-shooter with something slightly advanced and more powerful. Any thoughts?

Great cameras, just looked at the specs of the more advanced one - V1. It certainly got my attention, however, a bit pricey for me.
To tell you the truth I'm not really impressed. From the small interchangeable lens cameras Nikon's offerings have the smallest imaging sensor and the size benefit from this is not noticeable either. I'd go with the Sony Nex cameras, they have more features, bigger senors and are cheaper. Hell, I'd even go for Olympus Pen, it does have a bigger sensor as well and is probably a third of the price.
I hope Nikon have fixed some of the problems of mirrorless cameras...
