HTC shutting down online backup service ahead of revamp

HTC has revealed that it is shutting down its HTCSense.com online backup service in preparation for a renovation that will bring new features to the service. As a result of the shutdown, user data stored on HTC's servers will be deleted, so those that utilized the service will want to retrieve their information before it goes dark.
HTCSense.com was an online portal for HTC Sense-enabled Android devices that provided cloud-based backup for contacts, messages, GPS waypoints (Footprints in HTC-speak), and call history.
