We have some good news for those of you waiting on the HTC Titan II, the LTE version of the Windows Phone 7 phablet. The phone cleared the FCC with AT&T-flavored radios, and appears ready (by which we mean “legal”) to launch.
Of course marketing plans and product availability also drive the decision on when to release a new phone, but if the rumored March 18th release date holds up, the federals government won’t stand in the way of its release.
In addition to screen real estate that rivals Texas, the Titan II will be packing a larger battery (presumably to fend off the LTE juice-drain phenomena) and a 16 megapixel camera that will be tricked out with all the bells and whistles. »read more
