Motorola Photon or HTC Evo Design?

On paper the photon wins hands down. When I went to buy it the salesperson suggested I he would get the htc design instead. Another friend suggested her brother returned the photon for the htc design for similar reasons the sales person was suggesting. I am looking for a international sprint phone and need advice please.

I think the motorola is the better option..better specs and I expect more frequent updates....
