Graphic Cards Questions & Answers
Entry level graphics suggestion

I was set the task to select components for the computers in my office and I'm pretty much done, but the motherboard I've selected doesn't have video outputs so I need to get a graphics card. As performance is not that important I've decided that the new nVIDIA GeForce GT 520 will do just fine or AMD Radeon HD 6450. Which of the two should I choose (better bang for the buck).

I'd go for the nVIDIA, the cuda might give you some performance boost.

If the performance isn't a factor then just go for the cheapest one. I believe AMD's are generally cheaper compared to nVidia, thus AMD is the winner in this contest.

There shouldn't be much difference in performance so it really doesn't matter which one you will get.

nVidia 4 me 2. i guess i'm a bit prejudiced but never liked ati/amd, and also never had any serious issues with nvidia. same goes for intel, i'd be choosing intel over amd for cpus.
