The PT-LZ370U is Panasonic’s newest entry to the projector market. It offers 3,000 lumens brightness and a 1080p resolution, along with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The Dynamic Iris Pro system analyzes each image and adjusts lamp power, iris and the gamma curve to give you the best possible picture.

The company plans to unveil several new products including a pair of new educational projectors, the PT-CW230 and PT-CX200. Both projectors use the latest in DLP display technology and are 3D capable. The PT-CW230 is the more powerful device with 2500 ANSI lumens and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Pico projectors are all the rage, but if you need some premium functionality in a package that’s more luggabble than pocketable, Panasonic’s got your back with a trio of new models. The PT-LW25HU, PT-LX30HU and PT-LX26HU projectors (catchy!) weigh in at a scant 6.6 pounds each, with dimensions that are just barely bigger than a college textbook at 13.7 by 4.1 by 9.7 inches. Ranging in price from $849 to $1,099, the projectors slide into the middle range of Panasonic’s line.

Panasonic announced recently the release of three new projectors that are ideal for traveling and office use. The models include the PT-LW25H, PT-LX30H, and the PT-LX26H. The most powerful model out of the trio is the LW25H, which features 2500 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The other two both share the same 2500:1 contrast ratio and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The only real difference between the LX30H and LX26H is that they come with 3000 ANSI lumens and 2600 ANSI lumens, respectively. Panasonic unveiled today their very first laser optical engine. This tiny device is designed specifically to be used in LCoS pico projectors. The device incorporates red and blue lasers from external companies, but the green laser is Panasonic’s Second Harmonic Generation. The engine is capable of producing 50 ANSI lumens and a native SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. Laser-based projectors have been revered for their ability to never need focusing and can display onto virtually any surface, even curved screens and edges of rooms. The projector is not expected to be available until late 2011. Also, Panasonic stated that the device will be used to create a laptop accessory for Fujitsu.

Panasonic was proud to announce today the launch of what they are calling the world’s first LCD 3D projector, the PT-AE7000E. This device is capable of displaying full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2000 ANSI lumens, and an impressive 300000:1 contrast ratio. The projector is capable of displaying 3D content using the active shutter technique. The projector comes with 3 HDMI ports as well as a RGB, component, and several other ports as well. Panasonic has outed its latest home cinema projector, the PT-AR100U, a Full HD model targeting movie, sports and gaming enthusiasts. Boosting brightness to 2,800 lumens – and comfortably exceeding its predecessor, the PT-AE4000U, in the process – the AR100U offers a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and uses various ambient light and color sensors along with its Light Harmonizer 3 processing engine to automatically tweak the picture to suit the room.

Panasonic is finally ready to show off its first 3D projector, the PT-AE7000. This LCD beamer is a followup to the PT-AE4000 that debuted back in '09 and while some of the new features are for 3D -- 480Hz transparent LCD panels, integrated IR transmitter to sync the glasses and adjustable settings to tweak the picture at different viewing distances -- it also claims an improved 2D pedigree with a 200 watt lamp, claimed 300,000:1 contrast ratio and 2,000 lumens of brightness. Panasonic announced today that they are lowering the retail prices and extending the warranties for their PT-DZ570 Series of projectors. The series includes three projectors, the PT-DZ570U, PT-DW530U, and the PT-DX500U. All of these projectors feature the same DLP display technology, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 4000 ANSI lumens. The company will be extending the warranty from the original 3 years to a 5 year warranty. Panasonics has home theater gear ranging from TVs to Blue-ray players and projectors. The line of home theater projectors has grown by one-step today with the unveiling of the new Panasonic PT-AE7000U projector. The new projector is interesting because it offers full HD resolution and 3D in one unit. Many of the 3D projectors out there are only 720p.
The new projector is the first 3D unit in the world to use transparent LCD panels at 480Hz with the Panasonic overdrive tech to reduce cross talk and improve photo quality.
