Acer has once again expanded its line of IPS monitors by launching the B243PWL. This new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 14ms response time, and features D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectors. The B243PWL is available now for $329 MSRP.

Typically when a company advertises a product for enterprise or commercial customers, what they're really saying is, 'Hey, we jacked up the price, thanks for your business.' That doesn't appear to be the case with Acer's new B243PWL monitor, a 24-inch "commercial display." It's a $329 (MSRP) monitor, but it boasts an IPS panel with a Full HD (1920x1200) 16:10 screen resolution and a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic).

Acer announced a pair of G Series 21.5-inch LED-backlit LCD monitors, the G225HQLAbmid and G225HQLAbd. Both monitors pack a glossy TN-film panel, with 1920x1080 pixels resolution, 5 ms response time, 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 1000:1 static contrast ratio. The monitors feature Acer Crystal Brite technology, and up to 100 million colors reproduction. The Eco Mode feature works to conserve power. Where the two models differ is inputs and speakers. While the G225HQLAbmid features HDMI, DVI-D (HDCP), D-Sub, and built-in 2W stereo speakers; the G225HQLAbd lacks HDMI and built-in speakers. Both will be released to market towards the end of May.

Acer has this week added a new monitor to its portfolio, the V273HL model featuring a 27-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) TN panel, LED backlighting, and a (dynamic) contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1. Acer's display also has 170/160 degree viewing angles, a 5 ms response time, a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2, two 1 W built-in speakers, and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI inputs.

Acer has unveiled the latest addition to their S Series, the S271HL. This 27 inch screen is capable of displaying full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and an 1100:1 contrast ratio. The monitor is designed to be ideal for both work and play with the large resolution and quick response time. The screen is powered by LED lamp technology. This ensures thin screen design and low energy consumption. Acer has included several connection options that include VGA, HDMI, DVI, and HDCP protection. Acer has not announced a retail price yet, but it can be ordered through certified retailers.

Acer today unveiled its new S271HL S1 series monitor, an ultra-slim LED display with a scant 24mm profile and a rounded glossy porcelain-like foot stand. It has a 27-inch panel with a Full HD 1080p (1920x1080 @ 60Hz) resolution, but its real claim to fame is its 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic, of course), along with a super fast 2ms response time.

This display not only has 3D capabilities, but also full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 100000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Acer has announced two new products that will launch today and can convert your 2D content to 3D for you to enjoy. The products are the HR274H 3D computer display and the new H9500BD projector. The new display has a cool Acer chip-based 3D conversion solution to turn 2D into 3D with no software required. The display also uses passive polarized glasses that are much cheaper than active 3D glasses.

Acer unveiled today their latest 3D HD monitor, the GR235H. This 23 inch screen is capable of displaying 3D content and it was designed mainly for gamers.
