Logitech Z-5500 Questions & Answers
Are these speakers worth the money?
Follow Question
A new set of pc speakers have been on my wish list for quite some time and it seems like this is the set to have, although I'm not sure i'm willing to shed $340 for them. Are there any good alternatives that sound on par with these?

THX-certified sounds good to me.

It is probably the best ***budget*** 5.1 solution. It will be enough for most people, if the room is not big. It will also be better than many home-theater-in-a-box systems, but good receiver and speakers (which will be way more expensive) will be better in any directions, except size.

Though this model is 6-7 years old it's still the top model of Logitech, so I think this speaks enough itself :)

You can check the Logitech Z506, but it is way out of Z-5500's league in terms of power and quality.
