Optoma is happy to announce today the release of a new entry-level projector, the TW556-3D. This device is capable of displaying 2800 ANSI lumens, a 100000:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The device has also been fitted with 3D technology and the company’s new Eco+ technology. Optoma has included a diverse connection panel that has an HDMi, dual VGA ports, an s-video, composite, and several audio ports. The Eco+ technology is designed to significantly reduce the energy consumption below the normal Eco mode, but still be able to provide amazing image quality. The TW556-3D is expected to release soon.
