Vodafone UK has announced availability of a new budget-friendly smartphone for its customers, the Galaxy Y from Samsung. The Android device runs the Android Gingerbread smartphone operating system and features a 3-inch QVGA touchscreen display screen, a peppy 832MHz processor, Samsung's own TouchWiz interface, a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, HSDPA/Wi-Fi connectivity support as well as GPS and Bluetooth.
