Sprint has begun pushing out an update to the Motorola PHOTON 4G Android smartphone that addresses a nasty bug when making calls. Numerous PHOTON 4G users have reported that there is no sound when placing or receiving phone calls. Apparently the PHOTON 4G was muting itself automatically, preventing any sound from coming through. This software update addresses that bug, and also improves overall stability of the system. Additionally, there is now Bluetooth support for mono headsets in the Sprint Visual Voicemail app. The update is rolling out in stages, and users will be notified when it is ready to be downloaded and installed.
