The time has come, Samsung and Google have finally made the update for the Nexus S 4G smartphone that enables Google Wallet compatibility available.
According to Samsung's support site for the Nexus S 4G, the GWK74 build for the phone adds the necessary parts to make Google Wallet work. The update is installed over-the-air, so owners should be seeing a notification on their phones when it is ready to be downloaded and installed.
Of course, this could be a mistake, and it could take even longer for the update, and Google Wallet, to arrive. Google did promise that it would show up this summer, so technically it has two days left to get this update out to users.
