Despite grumbling at CES's scheduling, which apparently doesn't coincide with Microsoft's Cyrcadian rhythms, and announcing its withdrawal from the show for next year, the software giant did, however, demonstrate a pre-beta 8175 build of Windows 8. The build shows that Microsoft is on track to release the public beta in February, and hinted at new features, like the ability to change the Start menu color scheme and other personalization options, such as a transparent Charms bar.
