The built-in Android web browser has become the most popular mobile web browser, according to StatCounter. Android’s browser overcame Research in Motion’s BlackBerry browser in March 2011 to capture fourth place. Since then, the browser has grown at a rapid rate, passing Nokia, Apple and Opera’s mobile web browsers. In February 2012, Android had a 22.67% market share, beating out Opera’s 21.7% share for the first time ever.
