Audio and Picture out of Sync

I have a Philips 40PFL5505D/F7 LCD TV, a Comcast Motorola DCX3400 DVR, and a Onkyo TX-SR505 receiver. I have the audio coming from the av out on the dvr to the av in on the receiver. I also have the HDMI cominig from the dvr to the receiver then to the tv. I found on the receiver manual how to correct the sound and picture sync with the remote but unfortunatly I do not have the remote for receiver, i just control the volume with the comcast xfinity remote. Looked all over the net for some info but could not find any. Any ideas?

You can`t A/V Sync without the remote....I guess that Logitech Harmony would do the trick, but I`m not 100% sure(there is not much info on the net). So if you can borrow Logitech Harmony for a day you can give it a try(your Receiver is supported)
