Beats by Dre Solo or other similar priced headphones?

Looking for a headset in the $200 price range and got my eyes on a pair of Dre's solo headphones. I guess in that price range I'd get pretty good sound from any headset, but I like Solo's design as well. Anyway, should I consider something else? What are the competitors here?

The Beats Solo definitely look great and are quite portable. You didn't mention where are you going to use them, so for home usage I'd recommend the AKG K 601. Slightly bigger but they definitely sound great.

You can take Audio Technica ATH-A700 from Amazon for $109...it's a good deal for me :)
