Samsung Monte S5620 Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Samsung Monte doesn't do anything that is different or special. It is attractively priced, but you should expect basic rather than expansive usability from it.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

If you ask Samsung about the future of mobile phones, they’ll say smartphones. Their Bada OS is flying the “smartphone for everyone” flag.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Overall, it is difficult to see how the Monte does anything particularly special or different for Samsung. Indeed, the company could even be accused of diluting the mid-range Genio brand for little gain, or so it would seem.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Monte is a good halfway house between a feature phone and full-blown smartphone. It has impressive social networking features, a reasonably easy to use interface and good connectivity. It’s just a shame the user interface doesn’t provide an onscreen QWERTY keyboard and that Samsung hasn’t made the most of that capacitive screen by adding multi-touch support.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Keeping in mind the Samsung Monte's connectivity features, one point of view would term it as an excellent product that has the right amounts of performance, features, looks and price in the perfect ratio. If you are looking for a full-featured phone and money is a big issue, the Samsung Monte is a good option.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Samsung Monte really caught our eye straight out of the box. Lightweight, with sleek lines and comfortable in the hand – we were looking forward to turning it on. Sadly, the excitement didn't last long past hitting the power button. A budget capacitive touchscreen phone is a great idea by our reckoning, but what good is a control scheme you can't trust to actually choose the right option? It's not the worst phone in the world, but there are much better phones available, even from the same manufacturer.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The Samsung Monte S5620 is a mainstream cell phone, equipped with 3G and Wi-Fi. Its design is eye-riveting, while the refreshed TouchWiz interface offers several, truly nice extra features...
