With the announcement of the Ipad, Google has already shown that their browser based operating system, Chrome, will run well on a tablet platform. If Google stays true to their open development policy, like Android, they'll CRUSH Apple.

Crush might be a strong word... definitely stifle them. But then again, Apple does have a history of rising to the top and then letting it all fall apart (especially with Jobs at the helm).

Apple has taken the game to the next level with its ipad. This was the same feeling when iphone was released. And now many people joined the game in that level. Surely , there will be no other gadget competing ipad in near future.

IMHO the iPad isn't much more than an iTouch with a huge display. I certainly won't be buying one.
The most 'telling' mock ad I saw was along the lines of "Introducing the iPad Nano - It fits in your shirt pocket. Oh, and it makes phone calls too!" - I was ROTFL reading that.

I really would like to know what caused the developers (ie: Jobs) to stop short as far as features go. I get it, that it's the "pad" so like your home, but still, it could have done so much more ... or at least as it was billed by S.Jobs ... it should do a lot more.
