Many say that tablets featuring a full PC OS such as the upcoming HP Slate have an advantage over iPad because of being more versatile and supporting more applications. However, it is worth noting that installing applications on an iPhone/iPad-style OS is extremely simple: simply click "buy" or "install" on an app in the App store, and it adds an icon to your screen, downloads, and installs automatically. No need to navigate multiple websites, install multiple CDs/DVDs, click through "Open/Save As..." prompts, UAC checks, etc. Just saying...
