Intel announced a digital random-number generator (DRNG) at an industry conference on Thursday, that the company said would be incorporated in future Intel products to be announced next month.
Intel's DRNG will be built into the "uncore" peripheral logic that will surround the cores at the heart of Intel's 22-nm chips, Intel executives said. The DRNG will be built into products "across the spectrum" of Intel products, Intel executives said. »read more
