The Sony Ericsson LT22i "Nypon" prototype that was leaked a while ago, is seemingly coming with Sony's new "WhiteMagic" display tech, if this new spec leak below is to be believed. Sony's upcoming Nypon handset to feature its WhiteMagic display with 1000 nits of brightness? Coming at qHD resolution with the Nypon, the WhiteMagic screen technology's main virtue lies in its 1000 nits of brightness in "outdoor mode", as much as the brightest mobile display out there, on the Nokia 701. Also, Sony claims that in regular mode, the display draws half of the juice that conventional LCDs usually do, which should do some wonders for the battery life on the Nypon.
