Nvidia reports good quarter, surpass earning estimates

Today, Nvidia posted some pretty good quarterly earnings that were ahead of what analyst expected. This news comes after the company’s announcement of its beastly Tegra 3 quad-core processor, that will be jammed into the world’s first device to carry it, the Asus’ Eee Pad Transformer Prime next month. The chipmaker reported earnings of $178.3 million, or 29 cents per share, on revenue of $1.07 billion for the three months ended Oct. 30, while expected earnings were suppose to be around 26 cents per share, on revenue of $1.06 billion, according to First Call. »read more
