Virgin Mobile rumored to be getting HTC EVO 3D; will offer it as the HTC EVO V 4G

Who says that pre-paid carriers don't offer interesting phones. Recently, it was announced that Virgin Mobile would be getting the HTC One V and now a reliable source for PocketNow says that Sprint will be handing off the HTC EVO 3D to its pre-paid cousin. Virgin is expected to offer the stereoscopic handset as the HTC EVO V 4G.
The HTC EVO 3D still has some compelling specs today, with a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM. The 4.3 inch screen offers qHD resolution and the dual-lens 5MP camera on back lets you snap 3D pictures. The unit is one of two glasses-free 3D smartphones in the States and will continue to offer 4G hotspot functionality. »read more
