Qualcomm today announced that it has acquired gesture recognition technology and engineering resources from GestureTek. GestureTek develops gesture recognition products and services for mobile devices, entertainment facilities, healthcare systems, retail locations, and public and private venues. Qualcomm said that GestureTek's technology will be added to its next-generation SnapDragon mobile processors.
