BPI asks BT to block Pirate Bay or go back to court

BT has been asked to block access to The Pirate Bay after a court recently ruled that the ISP must cut off its users' access to file sharing site Newzbin2.
The British Recorded Music Industry (BPI) made the request, along with assorted film studios and music labels which all want to see the notorious filesharing site starved of users.
The letter asks BT to block The Pirate Bay voluntarily – if not, the industry bodies involved will pursue a court order to force its hand.
