EAH5550 with Linux

I have a new EAH5550 and wish to use it with my Asus M2N sli delux motherboard. So far it has not booted correctly. I'm using Ubuntu Maverick Meercat.. Does anyone have suggestions?

Level 6 Try booting with a live linux distro. If it does your OS is probably the cause. If not try removing the graphic card and reinstalling it. You can also try updating your bios (which is probably the case)

Level 4 Well in the support page for your motherboard is written "Fixed, it takes long time to check ATI EAH 5570 VGA card"...this is for the beta version 1604 of the BIOS. So if you flash it be careful...and don't worry I think 5570 and 5550 are the same
