The shortage of Snapdragon S4 processors is prompting HTC to use Qualcomm’s old-gen CPUs in some devices. The One S that is offered in India and Taiwan won’t come with the newest Qualcomm processor, but the old Snapdragon S3 clocked at 1.7GHz. Now we’re not sure how the two CPUs compare and I think there won’t be any visible differences as far as most users are concerned.
