Yesterday I saw this monster on DELL's website and the specs of the Alienware are truly impressive, it has Crossfire and SLI options for graphics and I7 cpus. With the top option of 2 HD 6970 in crossfire it puts out the same performance as a desktop GTX 580 (or pretty close anyway).

I wanted to buy a new GTX 570, but its price is almost $300 and I'm considering to get HD 6870. But when I watched some tests, I saw the FPS go really low on certain games. So can you recommend me something similar?

I've heard the reviews/rumors, and I am prone to believe them. Linux is less prone to viruses than a windows based system. But there continue to be skeptics.
