Following a recent update of Norton Anti-virus, my friends computer will no longer reboot. While he receives the option, it currently fails to boot completely in either Normal mode or Recover mode. Hard ware failure has not yet been totally ruled out.

I've downloaded it but haven't got a chance to install it yet, tomorrow maybe... I'll probably do a clean install on a separate partition. Last time I used a virtualization software it was way slow and had trouble with drivers...

Hi, can you recommend me a software (video player?) that will upscale films to higher HD resolution? For example, DVD resolution to 720 or 1080. I've seen that some blu-ray players have the option to upscale movies, but can it be done on the PC as well?

Strange one. Lately I noticed that when I'm watching films in full screen mode, after 15-20 or so minutes, the player gets back to normal mode (default resolution, not full screen) by itself. Pretty annoying as I have to double-click to bring it back to full screen mode a couple of times even for a short...
