Which laptops would you consider if you were looking for an ultrabook? I know most of these were just recently announced, but if anyone can share their opinion on the reliability, build quality and hidden annoyances, I would really appreciate it.

This happened 2 or 3 weeks after I got the laptop. The 3.5mm audio jack just stopped working although the mic jack is fine. I tried reinstalling a ton of drivers but the speakers just won't play. I've read somewhere that this is a common problem in some of the Asus laptops but it didn't seem to have...

Hey guys, I just noticed that the Fn keys no longer adjust volume and brightness on my ASUS K52JE notebook. Just to clarify it's about the combinations that don't work:



Brightness > Fn + F5/F6

Volume > Fn + F10/F11/F12



However, switsching off the LCD is fully operational...

ASUS did a great job this time - the UX21 looks god damn sexy and it should be quite powerful with that i7 heart inside. Can't wait to see the full specifications, and I'm really amazed with the latest Windows laptops. Tempted to see this one on my desk. Wondering what the price will be, any ideas?

I just got the notebook and there is that high freq noise coming out of speakers or something when the hard drive is spinning. Any ideas how to fix that?
