What cooling do you use on your gaming desktops?

Posted by mindhacker on May 11, 2011

Well I guess a lot of us here are possessed by the same gaming insanity when it comes to our desktop rigs. That said, I'm sure most of you are getting the kick not only using it, but probably when designing and building the actual thing. So, gamerheadz, my question is what type of cooling you have invested your savings for? That should include the type, the brand and some details about the rig, too. Feel free to showcase your stuff.

I use my default Intel fan and it's pretty good - quiet and keeps my CPU cool :)

On my AMD system I use a Xigmatek Cooler with 3 heatpipes and a big 12cm fan. Its pretty darn quite. :)

I used to use an old coolermaster that was surprisingly quiet and cool.

Liquid cooling - only if you overclock heavily, for me :)
