What notebook accessories you can't live without?

What do you carry along with your notebook? I always have a mouse, headphones, flash drive, and a couple of empty CDs (no reason, probably force of habit). I'm thinking of getting an external hard drive and one of those fancy USB keyboard lights that can be very useful when someone else is sleeping in the same room, at least before i get a laptop with backlit keyboard.

A mouse and a cooling pad.

Only headphones and the charger (oh..... and some sandwiches :)
