I know alot of people who love the idea of a rugged phone that can take a beating but don't want to get it because it doesn't do the stuff they want it to do. Why hasn't anybody come up with the brilliant idea of a rugged smartphone???

i-Mate announced one, but unfortunately they went out of business a few months later. I like the idea, too, but am not sure there are many people who want such a device. I believe HTC may come out with such "innovation" though, so cross your fingers :)

I work for verizon and i get so many customers who are contractors who would love to get a droid or a blackberry but don't because they know they're gona break it. Sooner or later they gotta make a rugged smartphone.
