FujiFilm X-E3 Pro Reviews

DP Review‘s review Edit

The Fujifilm X-E3 has the looks of a classic rangefinder, but don't let that fool you, it's got the guts of a modern camera. Handling is excellent thanks to ample direct controls, a super-responsive touchscreen, AF-point selection joystick and high-resolution electronic viewfinder. For the novice, there's an auto switch that makes the camera simple to use. Image quality, especially JPEG, is top-notch and the 15 'Film Simulations' are fun to try. Performance is snappy and autofocus is reliable in good light. 4K video quality is average and subject tracking is a tad unreliable. Still, the X-E3 is a super capable, great-handling camera.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

Using the same 24mp sensor as the Fujifilm X-Pro2, X-T2, and X-T20, the Fujifilm X-E3 produces images with excellent colour and noise performance. The design and handling of the camera are good, with a premium feel and style, as well as a smaller camera body than the previous version. The metal controls feel excellent, and being able to directly change controls is a very enjoyable way to shoot photos. For quicker focus selection, the touch-screen is a great addition, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth makes it quick and easy to share photos. The camera offers 4K video, albeit limited to 10 minutes, plus high-speed continuous shooting up to an impressive 14fps when using the electronic shutter. There's very little to fault on the X-E3, and if you've got the budget to spend on Fujifilm lenses, then there's a good range of options available.
