Apple iPhone X Pro Reviews

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

There’s a reason why the iPhone X dominates the best-selling list, despite fetching for $1,000 for the base model. It’s an incredible smartphone with an excellent all-around performance to match it.Samsung, though, manages to deliver an even more convincing package to the table. In many of the categories above, we tend to see the Note 9 standing out on top over the iPhone X. From its camera performance and faster charging to its larger screen and S Pen functionality, there’s more reason to invest in Sammy’s new pride and joy. There's also the headphone jack, the ability to access a desktop-like experience, and the double amount of starting storage capacity. Essentially, you’re paying the same amount, but receiving far more in return.

DP Review‘s review Edit

The iPhone X offers users a versatile, simple and powerful smartphone photography experience. Dual lenses give users zoom flexibility, the lighting effects present in Portrait mode are impressive, detail in video capture is excellent, and the beautiful display really makes photos and videos come to life on the device. Low light performance can be disappointing, though, and the new file formats aren't the friendliest for Windows users. Overall, the iPhone X is one of the most capable smartphone cameras on the market today.

The Apple iPhone X is well built, looks great and even though the camera app is basic, the smartphone captures good photos but at a premium price.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Of the two phones, the iPhone X is probably the more impressive: it has a more eye-catching design, has a small lead on performance, better speakers, and offers a camera experience that we imagine many users will prefer. But the Pixel 2 XL is no slouch by a long shot, and is still one of the very, very best Android phones you can buy. In the end, the choice between these two really might come down to platform: whether you're an iOS die-hard or an Android fan, these models represent some of the finest smartphone experiences you can find on either operating system.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Yet despite the four-digit figure, the iPhone X has been selling really well, and it is easy to tell why: it is a phone surrounded by hype and excitement, and owning one is like holding a piece of the future – today. For many people, choosing the iPhone X over any other phone would be an emotional decision above all. But the good news is that the iPhone X, while expensive, is also a great phone – fast and good-looking, with excellent cameras, clear-sounding speakers, and, ahem, a top-notch display. If money is no object, that’s the phone to go with.

When you're spending around $1,000 for a smartphone, you're going to want to have a lot to like – and both of these handsets very much deliver. They're at the top of their games in performance, camera quality, visuals, and offering software that feels custom-tailored to this unique hardware.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The iPhone X is probably not the best iPhone you can buy right now, but it sure is the most exciting one. And if you've been watching the iPhone space, waiting for something new to finally happen, you know what that means. The main purpose of the iPhone X is to show us the future of the iPhone, the next chapter in the iPhone story. It feels like a prototype for Apple's next-year phone. Aside from $1000 bucks, there's nothing else stopping you from getting a taste of that future, today, but you'll have to put up with the compromises that come with this privilege.

iPhone X is an overdue and winning evolution of the iPhone, but you’ll need to leave your comfort zone to make a jump into the face-recognizing future.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

There’s something both familiar and foreign about the iPhone X. On the one hand, it conjures memories of earlier iPhones, with aesthetic cues borrowed from the past ten years of designs. At the same time, though, the hardware has been pushed back to the periphery as much as current technology allows it. Apple’s vision is of a smartphone being little more than a frame to the digital world, and the iPhone X is the purest expression of that we’ve seen so far.
