LG Optimus F7 Pro Reviews

Phone Scoop‘s review Edit

LG did a fine job with the Optimus F7 for U.S. Cellular. It covers all the bases in terms of features and managed to perform well across the board. The hardware may be a bit vanilla, but it is solid and well made. The screen is excellent, voice calls sounded great, and the battery life was commendable. LG's customizations to Android allow F7 owners to fine-tune their own experience with no impact on the device's performance. Extras such as the Qslide and QuickMemo apps are fun to have and might even come in handy from time to time. The typical set of Android tools all work well. The camera, in particular, impressed me with its results. For $99, it's hard to beat the LG Optimus F7. Though there are several other device in that price range on U.S. Cellular's shelves, the F7 is clearly the best option in its tier.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

With images better suited to home cinema than PC output, the BenQ W1070 is a very well priced model that looks great and works well. You'll need to spend some time grappling with its controls, and we'd recommend using SmartEco on a regular basis. For those prepared to put in the effort, though, this can be a superb projector.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The LG Optimus F7 is a solid addition to Boost Mobile's lineup, delivering comparable performance and features to the Galaxy S III at a slightly friendlier price tag.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

As great as the Optimus F7 is, if you're looking to switch to U.S. Cellular, the carrier currently has a promotion on the Samsung Galaxy S4 that is frankly too tempting to pass up. The new customer discount (or "activation bonus") places the GS4 at the same $100 sweet spot as the F7, making it the best deal (and the best Android phone) to grab. However, for existing U.S. Cellular customers that are on the budget, do consider the Optimus F7. If you get the carrier's 4G LTE coverage, this an excellent device for its price range. Not only does it perform reliably, it's also newer, bigger, and packs a better camera than the LG Splendor. (The Motorola Electrify M is also the same price, but we haven't had a chance to review it). True, it's not as delicious as the GS4, which will cost twice as much for you, but you'll get a dependable phone and some extra dough in your wallet.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Taking into consideration everything we’ve checked out with the LG Optimus F7, we have to admit that it’s a very well rounded contender that’s above most other mid-rangers that are out on the market. And to an extent, it can very well hold its ground against some higher-end devices, especially when it’s priced to attract at $100 with a 2-year contract. It’s not the most cutting edge thing out of LG’s camp, but for US Cellular customers, it’s close as they can get to something grandiose like the Optimus G.
