While we are busy raving about our new Nokia Lumia 900 launch, HTC’s latest Windows Phone Titan II is now available for order from AT&T’s website. HTC Titan II features 4.7″ WVGA Super LCD display, 16MP Dual LED camera and 4G LTE network speed. The device is available for $199 under 2 year contract or $549 under no commitment pricing.

AT&T HTC Titan II With 16MP Camera Releasing On April 8th For $199 On Contract

Along with Nokia Lumia 900 launch on April 8th, AT&T is also releasing HTC Titan II on the same day. HTC Titan II, the successor to original HTC Titan will offer 4G LTE band, a 4.7″ Super LCD screen, and a 16 MP camera with dual LED flash. The device will be available for $199.99 on contract. Even though the price looks same as the other major flagship smartphones, it will have to compete with Nokia’s Lumia 900 which will go on sale with $100 less. Lets see how HTC and AT&T does the job of selling it!

HTC Titan II to hit Australia in early April

WPDownunder is reporting that the marketing campaign for the LTE-powered HTC Titan II is starting on the 27th March on the Australian Telstra carrier, with the handset expected to hit the market early in April.
The smartphone is rumoured to be free on a $79 /mo Freedom Connect plan or the cheaper $59 plan, with a $5 /mo MRO free, but pricing has not been confirmed yet.
If it does arrive in the next few weeks it is possible the device will beat the LTE Nokia Lumia 900 to market, at least in Australia and possibly in USA also.
The HTC Titan II features a 4.7 inch screen, 1.5 Ghz processor, 16 GB storage and a 16 megapixel camera, and of course LTE, backed by a 1730mAh battery.

HTC Titan II passes through the FCC

We have some good news for those of you waiting on the HTC Titan II, the LTE version of the Windows Phone 7 phablet. The phone cleared the FCC with AT&T-flavored radios, and appears ready (by which we mean “legal”) to launch.
Of course marketing plans and product availability also drive the decision on when to release a new phone, but if the rumored March 18th release date holds up, the federals government won’t stand in the way of its release.
In addition to screen real estate that rivals Texas, the Titan II will be packing a larger battery (presumably to fend off the LTE juice-drain phenomena) and a 16 megapixel camera that will be tricked out with all the bells and whistles.

AT&T and HTC Announce HTC Titan II with 16 MP Camera

HTC CEO Peter Chou took the stage at AT&T's developer conference keynote, and held up the HTC Titan II - AT&T's first LTE WP7 device. This comes just a few hours before Nokia is expected to present its own LTE-enabled WP7 device on AT&T.
The Titan II includes a whopping 16 MP backside illuminated CMOS sensor with a wide angle optical system alongside dual LED flash, image stabilization, and 720p video recording. The Titan II is also powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 SoC, in line with current WP7 devices.
