Level 7 AMOLED produces more vibrant and richer colors while SLCD creates a sharper picture and warmer tone.

Level 3 S-LCD stands for SuperLCD and is also a joint venture between Samsung & Sony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-LCD).

It's the display technology HTC uses for handsets like Rhyme and Desire. It is known for having better energy efficiency (compared to SAMOLED) when showing white colors, good contrast and basically achieving equivalent characteristics to those of organic EL displays.
